Costanzo Frau – psychologist-psychotherapist – is a PhD student at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU). He is Scientific and Clinical Trainer and the European Society for Trauma and Dissociation (ESTD) country representative for Italy. He carries out his clinical and research activity in Cagliari.
He is currently working on a longitudinal research project on the neurobiological correlates of attachment in mother-infant dyads. He edited the Italian version of the books “Trauma Model Therapy. Treatment for trauma, dissociation and complex comorbidities” by C. Ross and N. Halpern and “Neurobiology and treatment of traumatic dissociation. Towards an embodied self” by U. Lanius, S. Paulsen and F. Corrigan
