Onno van der Hart, PhD, is a psychotraumatologist, emeritus professor of psychopathology of chronic traumatization, and an educator on diagnosis and treatment of complex trauma-related disorders. Honorary president of L'Association Française Pierre Janet, he is a Janet scholar. He is (co-)author of many articles on trauma-generated dissociation and several books on this subject.
