Darcy Harris

Darcy L. Harris, RN, RSW, MEd (Couns), Ph.D., FT, is a Professor in the Department of Thanatology at King’s University College in London, Ontario, Canada, where she also maintains a private clinical practice specializing in issues related to change, loss, and transition. She currently serves on the board of directors of the Association for Death Education and Counseling as well as the International Work Group on Death, Dying, and Bereavement. She is also a faculty member with the Portland Institute of Loss and Transition, and an internationally known speaker and author of many books, articles, and chapters.  Her most recent book, Compassion-Based Approaches in Loss and Grief was released early this year.
